Professor Kakizawa

We will have 3 days of workshop by visiting Professor Kakizawa. If interested in attending any of these workshops, please contact your teacher for additional information.

Thursday, Sept. 12 - Shoka Shofutai in the morning
                                  Shoka Shinputai in the afternoon
Cost: $100 for both workshops; $50 for a single workshop

Saturday, Sept. 14 - Rikka Shimputai all day workshop
Cost $100

Sunday, Sept. 15 - Rikka Suna-no-mono - all day workshop
Cost: $150
This is a very special style and that we rarely see outside of Japan. I hope everyone who is studying Rikka will be able to attend this workshop. We will be using vases we purchased in Japan: they are ceramic and each attendee will get a container and will be able to make their own arrangement. The vase is included in the price.

NOTE: lunch is included in the price for the in all day workshops

Cost: $30 per class, includes material and instruction

* Please bring floral clippers (or pruning shears), low bowl container/vase, and floral pinholder/frog to class. We have several that students may borrow while in class if you do not have your own.

Continuing Classes:

There is a series of continuing classes/workshop in Little Tokyo. Each workshop is taught by an Ikenobo Instructor and member of the Los Angeles Chapter. The classes are open to everyone, from beginners to advance students and even other instructors.
