Ikenobo Ikebana Society of Los Angeles


This is the series of continuing classes/workshops in Little Tokyo.  Each class is taught by an Ikenobo Instructor and member of the Los Angeles Chapter.  The classes are open to everyone, from beginners to advanced students and even other instructors.

Covid Restrictions:

  1. Masks are no longer required, but optional. 
  2. ​Please cancel by the Thursday before class if you can not attend for any reason -this includes students who feel sick or have a fever or cough.

Please note that the JACCC follows the Covid guidelines set by the CDC and the Los Angeles Department of Health.



We are very sorry, but we will no longer be accepting reservations for the JACCC classes listed below as they are now currently full.  Those on the wait list will be notified the week of the class if there are any cancellations.  We thank you very much for your patience and understanding.


Class Dates:

  • January 13
  • January 27
  • February 10
  • February 24
  • March 9
  • (No class on March 23 due to a Chapter event) 


Class time: 2:30 pm -4:30 pm


Classes and Workshops


Ikenobo Ikebana classes are held throughout Los Angeles and Orange Counties by individual instructors. To check if classes are held in your area, please contact us via email

Cost:

  • $35 per class per student, which includes instruction and materials. Cash or checks only as we cannot accept electronic payments at this time.


Registration:

  • Maximum number of students is 12.
  • Reservation is required and is accepted on a first come/first served basis.
  • All RSVP's must be reconfirmed by the Thursday before class.  Please respond to the request for confirmation to ensure accurate headcount for material planning.

  • Maximum of 3 students per reservation.


Equipment:

  • If you have equipment: a vase, scissors, and kenzan (pinfrog), you are welcome to bring them to class, but if not please do not purchase any equipment as they will be loaned to students for the duration of the class.


Parking:

  • Please note that there is no parking available in the building, however there is metered street parking and paid lots in the area.
